A FOUR-vehicle crash caused traffic congestion on routes into Northallerton this morning.
Emergency services were called the crash on the Mill Lane Track, Scruton, near Leeming Bar just after 7.30am this morning.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance was also sent to the scene and a spokeswoman said: "I can confirm we attended the Leeming Bar area at approximately 7.30am for a road traffic collision, however the patients were taken to hospital via road ambulance."
The crash involved a silver Vauxhall Insignia, a white Citroen DS3, a red VW Up and a bus.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said: "Two people were initially reported to be trapped in one of the cars but their injuries are not believed to be serious.
"Traffic had to be diverted around the collision scene while the emergency services dealt with the incident.
"The road re-opened and was clear by 9.17am."
