BE inspired and enjoy some great shopping at a luxury Christmas fair taking place this Friday and Saturday at The Garden Rooms at Tennants, in Leyburn.
This year’s Winter Wonderland Christmas Fair, being run in association with Living magazine, is bigger than ever, with more than 70 designers, artists and artisans showcasing the very best unique gifts, clothing, stocking-fillers and homeware. The renowned annual shopping event now covers two floors, with the addition of the Upper Gallery at Tennants being dedicated to beautiful and distinctive quality handmade crafts.
The Upper Gallery will also feature artwork inspired by the dramatic landscapes and wildlife of the region, by artists from Yorkshire and the North-East who will be selling prints and originals. The Food Court in The Cloisters is hosting local makers offering a great range of seasonal produce, while The Garden, Fountain and Versailles Rooms will be a treasure trove of quality, luxury gifts, clothing and seasonal home furnishings.
There will be cafes upstairs and downstairs offering a welcome chance to relax with family and friends, and the restaurant will be open offering a beautiful, affordable festive menu. Booking is strongly advised.
The Garden Rooms is fully accessible and there is free all-day parking.
