A TEENAGER is being treated in hospital after being injured with a 'sharp object'.

The 19-year-old suffered non-life threatening injuries to his arm and finger following an incident in the Eltham Crescent area of Thornaby at the weekend.

Cleveland Police were called to the incident at 6.45am on Saturday, December 1. It is believed an altercation occurred between the victim and a small group of people which resulted in a man injuring the victim with a sharp object.

The victim was taken to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough for treatment.
