A WOMAN waiting at a bus stop had her handbag snatched by a man on a bicycle.
The 48-year-old woman was a the junction of Stockton Road and Sydenham Road in Hartlepool, at about 11.30pm on Sunday night when the unknown man pedalled past her, grabbing her bag from her shoulder.
Her phone, purse and bank cards were inside.
The woman was not injured during the incident.
The cyclist, who was wearing a hooded top in grey or dark blue, rode off in the direction of Brenda Road.
