A PEDESTRIAN hit by a cyclist had to undergo surgery after suffering serious abdominal injuries.
A 42-year-old male pedestrian was hit by the bike at around 6.20pm on Sunday, November 4, Stockton High Street opposite Debenhams.
The cyclist, believed to be in company with another bike rider, is believed to have made off down the High Street and then towards Dovecot Street.
He is described as a white male, aged in his mid to late teens, with short, light brown hair and of slim build. He was wearing a blue puffa jacket with a hood, dark bottoms and trainers.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or anyone who may know the identity of the cyclist is asked to contact PC Neil Armstrong from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the 101.
