POLICE have praised the public after a burglary appeal.

A spokeswoman for Durham Constabulary said a 17-year-old boy is now assisting the force with their enquiries following the incident in Ramshaw near West Auckland, on October 7.

Two high value Range Rovers, which were recovered, as well as an iPad, a pair of trainers and a wallet containing bank cards were taken from a house.

The spokeswoman said: "Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal."
