A CELEBRATED farmer will share his thoughts on agriculture and rural life, along with stories from his own family farm, when he visits Durham.

Countryfile’s Adam Henson, who has been shining a spotlight on British agriculture for more than 15 years, with regular broadcasts from his Cotswold farm, will regale an audience t the city’s Gala Theatre, on Wednesday, November 7 at 7.30pm.

It will be be is only date in the region, and fellow farmers, countryside enthusiasts and anyone with an interest in local produce is encouraged to book their tickets now to avoid disappointment.

As well as discussing the issues farmers face, he will talk about his television career and his books, including Like Farmer, Like Son and A Farmer and His Dog. There will also be a book signing and a question and answer session.
