POLICE have issued audio of calls made to their 999 emergency number from people asking for help with an overflowing toilet and the wrong type of relish on a burger.
Northumbria Police made the calls public to highlight the number of inappropriate requests for help they receive.
"A call about burger relish doesn’t count as a police emergency," a spokesman said. "Please support our #unsungheroes by only calling 999 in a real emergency."
