DIFFICULT weather was not enough to stop keen riders saddle up for the 13th Scott Trial.
Organised by Richmond Motor Club, hundreds of riders took part in what many describe as the toughest one day motorcycle trial in the world on Saturday, despite the rain, wind and fog.
Conditions brightened throughout the day, but it wasn't enough to stop some competitors suffer with waterlogged bikes.
Paul Terry, president at Richmond Motor Club, said: Trialling is something I have been involved in since I was a young lad, from spectating with my dad to following the trial in a tractor at 16-years-old.
"The Scott Trial takes place in spectacular landscape and wouldn't be possible without the continuing support from the landowners, farmers and gamekeepers.
"I've enjoyed many attempts (or not) to make it round the infamous trial within time – I finally achieved it in 2006."
