THE team behind celebrated live show Kynren: an epic tale of England will stage a fireworks display this November.

Eleven Arches, the charity which created and produces the attraction at Flatts Farm, in Bishop Auckland, has announced it will hold a musical pyrotechnics spectacular on Friday, November 2.

The family and community inspired event aims to provide a fireworks night with a difference, with the audience watching the excitement from the comfort of its 8000-seater Tribune.

The 30 minute show will echo Kynren’s time travel theme, taking guests through five decades of British music.

Gates will open at 5pm so visitors can use the site’s Food Village which will offer locally sourced heart-warming autumnal food before the show at 7pm.

Eleven Arches chief executive Anne Isabelle Daulon said a fireworks display in Bishop Auckland is a longstanding family tradition in the area but it needed a new home.

She said: “With our production expertise and our skills in jaw-dropping pyrotechnics gained in the delivery of our breath-taking world-class show Kynren, we worked with our local partners to host the event with an exciting twist on the Kynren site, and the Musical Fireworks live from Bishop Auckland was born.

“We are thankful to strong partnerships with Durham County Council, Local businesses and local stakeholders, who have been instrumental in enabling this event to happen."

Tickets are available from Kynren.com/fireworks on a first come first served basis, priced £8 for adults and £4 for four to 15-year-olds.
