A WOMAN was left with facial injuries after a full can of pop was thrown at her by a teenager.
She was out walking her dog through the wooded area, which runs adjacent to Tennyson Gardens, Dipton, on Thursday, October 2 at about 6.20pm when the attack took place.
She was verbally abused by two youths, before one then threw the fizzy drink at her.
It caused several injuries including a large cut above her left eye, swelling and bruising around her eye as well as a small cut to the bridge of her nose.
The two youths are described as: white males, aged 15-16 years old, 5ft 6ins, of skinny build, both wearing a dark hoody and baseball caps, one youth had short dark hair and the other short blonde hair.
