TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of affray following an incident in a Darlington street.
Durham Police were called at about 2.20pm on Wednesday to an address in Brunton Street in Darlington.
Two men were taken to hospital and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances around the incident.
Three police cars and one police van were outside the property throughout the afternoon.
A spokesperson for the North East Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a person injured in the Brunton Street area of Darlington at around 2.25pm.
"We dispatched a double crewed ambulance and transported one person to Darlington Memorial Hospital."
A spokesperson for Durham Police said: "Two men have been arrested on suspicion of affray following an incident in Darlington.
"Durham Police were called at about 2.20pm to an address in Brunton Street.
"Two men have been taken to hospital.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances around the incident."
