TWO people arrested after a woman's body was found in a house in North Ormesby have been released under investigation.
A 52-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were arrested by detectives after a woman's body was found at a house on Dorothy Street, North Ormesby, on Monday evening.
Cleveland Police said: "A post mortem examination has taken place today however further examinations and tests are required.
"Officers remain in North Ormesby conducting inquiries and offering a reassuring presence to residents.
"We would appeal for anyone with information which could assist our inquiries to contact Cleveland Police via the 101 number quoting Event 181019.
"Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers via its website at www.crimestoppers-uk.org or by phoning 0800 555 111."
