A WOMAN has been charged with murder in connection with the death of a woman in Hartlepool
Cleveland Police have confirmed tonight a 48-year-old woman has been charged with murder in connection with the death of Kelly Franklin, who was 29.
The alleged incident occurred on Oxford Road in Hartlepool on Friday, August 3
The woman will appear at Teesside Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Last month, Torbjorn Kettlewell, 30, of The Oval, Hartlepool, appeared at Teesside Crown Court via a videolink, charged with murdering Ms Franklin.
He also faced a separate charge of possessing a knife, which he denied.
Judge Simon Bourne-Arton QC fixed the trial, which is expected to last a week, for January 14.
Mr Kettlewell, also known as Ian, denied the charges.
He was remanded in custody.
