A YOUNGSTER has organised a 5km walk in memory in his grandfather and to raise cash for the Alzheimer's Society.
Jacob Andrews, six, is urging people to take part in the walk on Sunday, October 7 at 11am at Catterick Racecourse in memory of his grandfather Anthony Gallagher, who had been suffering from dementia.
Jacob remembers him, and as he has got older and understands a more about dementia, he has decided to raise awareness and funds to help combat this condition. The walk is the equivalent of three times round the racecourse and there is a pushchair friendly track. Responsible dog owners are welcome.
Text donations to JACP47 followed by the amount £3, £5 or £10 to 70070 or contact Karen Andrews on 07592-499127.
