MEMBERSHIP: Costs will be cut in celebration of National Fitness Day
A COUNCIL is celebrating National Fitness Day by offering membership discounts in its gyms.
Customers wishing to join Durham County Council leisure centres can do so for an initial payment of £5 with nothing more to pay until November 2018.
Andy Brown, the council’s principal physical activity manager said: “Whether visitors are looking to get back into swimming or try the gym for the first time, this is a great chance to try out the leisure centres and get started on their fitness journey."
Selected leisure centres include Chester-le-Street Leisure Centre and Freeman's Quay Leisure Centre.
