A TEENAGER who shouted expletives at revellers in a pub has been fined for her drunken outburst.
Kelsey Louise Godfrey, 18, was arrested after a police officer overhead her threatening customers inside the Joseph Pease pub, off Tubwell Row, Darlington, in August.
The unemployed teenager, of Beaconsfield Street, Darlington, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
A Crown Prosecution Service statement stated: “A police officer was called to the Joseph Pease pub to make an inquiry about an earlier incident involving the defendant.
“While he was there, the defendant has attempted to push past the door staff to gain entry to the pub and she’s been prevented from doing so.
“She’s become verbally abusive and shouted: 'You f****** wait until I see you, I’ll f****** knock your f****** face in, you f****** b*******’.”
Godfrey, who represented herself, admitted “it was a mistake" and was fined £40.
