POLICE investigating the theft of an expensive guitar and mixer from Absolute Music have released CCTV images of their suspect.
The incident happened at around 5.10pm on Thursday, August 2 at the store on the Knighton Heath Industrial Estate in Ringwood Road.
A man walked into the shop and stole a Rickenbacker Jet Glo electric guitar and a Roland Aira MX-1 mix performer. The total value of both could reach more than £2,000.
Sergeant Carmel Ryan, of Bournemouth police, said: “The items stolen were of a high value and this has had an impact on the business."
Anyone who knows the man in the CCTV pictures should contact police via dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting 55180134460.
Sgt Ryan said: "I am also issuing photos of the stolen items and would like to hear from anyone who has seen similar items being offered for sale locally in suspicious circumstances."
