Shopping trip
THE next Witton Park Community Bus shopping trip will be held on Tuesday, September 18 with pick ups from 11am and returning at 2pm. To book a place call Stan Thexton on 07854-566816. The supermarket has yet to be confirmed, state your preference when booking and organisers will decide by the majority. Assistance available with bags and or shop.
Phone lost
IF anyone finds a Samsung Galaxy S7 rose gold phone, which has been lost in the Stainton Grove area, they are asked to hand it in at Barnard Castle police office or call 101.
Cake course
A BEGINNERS cake decorating course at Bishop Auckland College will start on Wednesday, and run until Wednesday, October 17. Weekly sessions, held 6pm to 9pm, will include preparing cupcakes with sugarpaste, blossom tints, royal icing piping techniques and sugarcraft flowers. Health checks
DOCTORS and nurses from the Old Forge Surgery, in Middleton-in-Teesdale, will be offering basic health checks at the Middleton-in-Teesdale Mart Sale on Wednesday, September 19, from 2pm to 4pm. No appointment is necessary.
