KEEN golfers could be in line to win a host of great prizes as well as raising money for two good causes at the Mayor’s Charity Golf Day.
The annual event at Hunley Hotel and Golf Club, Brotton, near Saltburn, will take place on Friday, September 21 at 2pm and four-person teams are encouraged to enter the fun and competitive competition.
Entry costs £160, with all the money going to the local District Friends of Cancer Research UK and Guisborough and East Cleveland Sea Cadets. Teams can compete for a host of prizes ranging from top three in the competition, longest drive as well as a Beat the Pro challenge.
After the golf has finished, teams will be invited to a presentation ceremony and two-course meal with the Mayor of Redcar and Cleveland, Councillor Dennis Teasdale, where trophies will be presented to the winners.
