TEESDALE residents have been asked to choose their top three priorities for the coming year.

The Teesdale Area Action Partnership (TAP) is one of 14 AAPs across County Durham which operate to give residents a greater choice and voice in local affairs.

Across all AAPs, people are asked to vote on what priorities they would like to see their AAP work towards.

During 2017/18, the AAPs allocated more than £2.5 million to projects and helped bring into the county more than £2.3 million of matched investment to deliver 825 local projects across the county.

Within the Teesdale area the top three themes were Children, Young People & Families, Older People and Employment, Enterprise & Training.

During 2017/18 the AAP allocated £130,841 towards 22 local projects, which in turn brought in a further £82,420 of match funding to the Teesdale area.

Residents are being asked to complete a survey to vote on their priorities for next year.
