CORONATION STREET

CHEATS never beat - as Imran is about to discover.

Sally learns that he has been seeing both Battersby sisters and tries to use the information to help her as the trial looms. When Leanne and Toyah find out, they devise a plan to bring him down a peg or two. It backfires when he sacks Leanne, but Adam finds the perfect reason to reinstate her.

EASTENDERS

Despite everything he's put them through, the Carters in EastEnders (BBC1) are initially relieved to learn that the doctors are going to wake Stuart up, as it means he can tell the police what really happened on the night of the shooting.

However, they may be left wishing he'd stayed unconscious indefinitely as Halfway reveals that his brother is claiming Mick shot him. The pub landlord briefly considers doing a runner, before realising there's no way out - and when Zara corroborates Stuart's story, it seems Mick could be looking at a long spell in jail...

The Slaters receive a couple of blasts from the past as Stacey meets up with her old mate Ruby, who invites her to take a night off from domestic drudgery, while Hayley is reunited with her mum Bev. Hayley is desperate for reassurance that she can be a good mother, but it seems Bev may not be the one to provide it as she doesn't even seem that concerned when her daughter fears she's losing the baby.

Meanwhile, Kush is furious that Sophie is still hanging around, but Carmel remains determined to help her.

EMMERDALE

No matter how many times we think she's been killed, Rebecca seems to survive - but could she finally run out of lives this week in Emmerdale (ITV)?

Robert is stunned when Lachlan reveals that Rebecca is still alive, and rushes off to find her. However, news of the killer's arrest has reached the nurse who has been keeping an eye on Rebecca, and she reassures her patient that will all be over soon before approaching her with a syringe...

By the time Robert reaches the room where she was being held, there's no one there. And Lachlan isn't quite so smug when he discovers that this time his aunt really is missing, presumed murdered.

Despite warnings from Tracy and Ryan, Ross continues to take drugs, even turning to pills to give him the energy to play football with Moses. But the boost doesn't last long as he collapses, leaving his son to wander off in the direction of a bridge...

Elsewhere, Jessie tells Marlon her secret, while Graham continues to urge Joe to protect his assets from Debbie, and Charity pushes her nearest and dearest away.
