A MAN was taken to hospital following a crash this morning (Monday).
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision on Cockton Hill Road, in Bishop Auckland, at around 6am.

A spokesperson for Durham police said a Ford Kuga had collided with a parked car and rolled over.
The driver of the car – a 50-year-old man – was taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital. His injuries are unknown at this time.
The road, a main route into Bishop Auckland, was closed both ways between Rutland Avenue and Northumberland Avenue for about three hours to allow emergency services deal with the accident.
The road reopened at 9.20am.
