A HEALTH and wellbeing charity has teamed up with a tech company to kick start a campaign to revamp its hydrotherapy pool.

The Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP), based in Newton Aycliffe, this summer launched its Dive In appeal seeks to raise the £200,000 needed to cover the 20-year-old facility's refurbishment.

This week Aspire Technology Solutions, of Gateshead, donated a VIP experience for two worth thousands of pounds.

The lucky winners will be treated to drinks, a five-course dinner and access to a corporate box to watch the Newcastle United game against Watford on Saturday, November 3.

Carol Gaskarth, chief executive for the PCP, said: "This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to win such a VIP experience and we hope to generate lots of interest for the tickets. Best of luck to everyone who enters.”

Aspire has also donated a further £500 directly to the charity.

Paul Shill, senior account manager at Aspire, said: “Aspire are delighted to support such a remarkable forward thinking charity.

"It’s our absolute our privilege to be working with PCP, we could see the synergy between the two organisations, which link to our core values.

"Focussing on delivering excellence in everything that we do and providing a personal service to customers”.
