Dusty show

DUSTY and The Shades of the 60s will be at the Forum in Northallerton on Sunday, September 23 from 7.30pm. The show celebrates the life and music of iconic musician, Dusty Springfield and features songs including I Only Want to be With You and Son of a Preacher Man. It also covers artists and writers who worked with her over three decades, including hits by Burt Bacharach and Aretha Franklin.

Vandal damage

A WINDOW was smashed at a property on Lascelles Lane in Northallerton and police are appealing for information. It happened between 11.30pm on Saturday, September 1 and 8am the following morning. If anyone has any information that could help police, they should call 101.

Vote reminder

RICHMONDSHIRE residents are being urged to make sure they are on the new Register of Electors so they don’t lose the chance to vote. 24,000 homes have already been issued with a form containing information on the current electoral register.
