A NUMBER of GP practices in Hambleton and Richmondshire will be closed on Thursday.

GP surgeries with the Heartbeat Alliance, will be closed between 12.30pm and 6.30pm on September 6 due to staff training.

Out of hours cover has been arranged for patients who require urgent medical attention between these hours, which can be accessed by calling NHS 111. They will provide appropriate healthcare advice and be able to direct patients to the most appropriate service for their needs.

Normal GP service will resume on Friday, September 7.
