FINED: A woman was caught on CCTV buying a bottle of vodka for someone under 18
A WOMAN has been fined £90 after she was caught buying a bottle of vodka for a child.
Police reviewed CCTV at an off-licence in Spennymoor and spotted the woman buying the alcohol for someone under the age of 18.
She was issued with a £90 fine.
A spokesperson for Durham police said: "Should she decide to make the same mistake again she could find herself at court with a criminal conviction and unlimited fine."
