EACH week we preview a member of the Northern Echo's Camera Club.
This week Marion Charlton, from Durham.
Who or what inspired you to take up photography?
FROM being a child I always liked looking at pictures of places/postcards.
Your first camera?
I CAN’T truly remember but the first decent camera I bought for going on holiday was a point and shoot Fuji.
What do you most enjoy photographing, and why?
I LIKE photographing all things, but probably have taken more scenic pictures.
Your favourite picture?
A HOLIDAY picture taken of the Calvari steps in Majorca. I have it on my sitting room wall. It's my favourite because it was the first picture which inspired me to take up photography.
Your go-to kit at the moment?
I USE a Nikon DX3400 camera and I'm currently looking to upgrade.
Do you spend much time in post-production and what software do you use?
THE only post-production I use is Windows 10.
Any advice for budding photographers?
TAKE lots of photographs which appeal to you, rather than what you think will appeal to others. That way you will gain more enjoyment from your photography.
