CAR enthusiasts can enjoy an exciting day out at Ripon Racecourse when it hosts a gathering of more than 500 classic cars.

On Sunday, August 26, Ripon Racecourse will be filled with restored MGs and Austin Sevens, plus historic motorcycles, vans, trucks and ex-military monsters.

There will be plenty for all the family, with truckloads of club members keen to chat to enthusiasts, and even photo opportunities sitting behind the wheel.

There will be trade stalls, an auto-jumble sale, a classic Land Rover display, and an arena schedule of parades with commentary.

Private classic cars are welcomed.

Parking is free, and the show runs from 10am to 4pm, with admission priced at just £7 per adult and £2.50 for children.

Well-behaved dogs on leads are also welcome.
