INCIDENT: A bike fell from a car roof rack on the A1 southbound Picture: GOOGLE
A BICYCLE fell from the roof of a vehicle travelling on the A1(M) near Durham.
The bike fell off the car's roof rack on the southbound carriageway between junction 63 (Chester-le-Street) and junction 62 (Carrville) today.
Speed restrictions were in place while a search for the bike was conducted.
The bike could not be found and restrictions were lifted at around 3pm.
