A CELEBRATION of all things music and comedy will take place in Stockton this week.
The town's Stages festival will run from Wednesday, May 30 until Saturday, June 2.
A marquee will be set up on the town's high street and will feature a number of musicians and comedy acts performing throughout the four days.
Councillor Norma Wilburn, Stockton Borough Council’s cabinet member for arts, leisure and culture, said: “It is brilliant to see the return of such a popular event in our packed schedule for 2018.
“Our last major event on the high street – Supercar Saturday – pulled in huge crowds. Stages is very different but it’s just as family-friendly.
“There’s plenty for grown-ups too, with lots of live music and all manner of bars to enjoy."
