A MAN has appeared in court following a spate of burglaries in Teesdale.
Leon Robinson, of Scaton Lane, Hartlepool, was charged with 13 offences in the early hours of this morning and appeared at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates' Court today.
The 29-year-old did not enter any pleas for the offences which included burglary, attempted burglary, assaulting police officers, taking a car without consent, criminal damage and driving while disqualified and having no insurance.
Mr Robinson was remanded in custody and will next appear at Durham Crown Court on June 18.
