DISTURBANCE: Police attended a pub in Evenwood on Sunday afternoon but found no fight had occurred
POLICE were called to reports of a fight at a village pub last night but discovered it was just a disagreement over football between two customers.
Officers were called to the alleged disturbance inside The Bay Horse pub at Evenwood at 4.30pm on Sunday.
Upon arrival they found no violence had been used.
A spokeswoman for Durham police said: "On attendance, it appeared that no public order offences had occurred."
