TV and radio star Lucy Porter is set to bring her new tour show Choose Your Battles to the region on Friday, at 8pm.
Funny Way To Be Comedy at The Witham, in Barnard Castle, will host the show which has been described as a "heart-felt and hilarious show of personal revelation, political observation and reflection has garnered rave reviews".
Secret ballots, visual aids and a punchbag with the face of Mary Berry, are all used in the show.
Funny Way To Be promoter Peter Dixon said: "We're delighted that one of our all-time favourite comedians, Lucy Porter, is returning to Barnard Castle this year following a sell-out show in Teesdale last year. We're sure her distinctive, cheerful, bouncy, feel-good comedy is the perfect antidote to the winter blues. The two comedy shows following this one, Phill Jupitus and Mark Steel, are already sold out so we’d advise people to buy in advance if they want to join in the fun."
