A CYCLIST was killed in an accident with a car on the outskirts of Leyburn, North Yorkshire.
The accident happened on Saturday at the junction of the Harmby to Spennithorne Road and Hargill Road.
The accident took place at 3.35pm as the Vauxhall Corsa pulled out of Hargill Road onto the main road.
The 44-year-old, thought to be a local man, died from severe head injuries sustained in the crash.
Witnesses should call the police on 0845-6060-247.
