POLICE are seeking help in tracing a man from the Bishop Auckland area who has been missing for about six weeks.
Durham Police have said they are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Alean Appleby, 46, who if from the area but is known to travel around the region.
Anybody who has any information about his whereabouts, or believes they may have seen him, is asked to contact the force on non-emergency 101, quoting incident number 198 of February 26.
