THE singer and bassist from an English roots and folk duo will take to the stage at a historic County Durham manor house next month.
Miranda Sykes, of Show of Hands, will perform at Sedgefield’s Grade II-listed Manor House on Friday, March 2.
The second concert of 2018, she follows a sold-out gig with Lindisfarne founder Rod Clements this month.
After a career spanning over 20 years, during which time she has played with many of the top musicians and singers within the folk world, she will be touring as she started out: one woman, one bass, and one guitar.
At the end of March, Robert Lane will return to the Manor House with a solo show, following his popular gig with Kyshona Armstrong last year.
Doors for Miranda Sykes at 6.30pm. Tickets available at wegottickets.com/event/415367
