A POLICE officer was hit with a £100 fine for parking in a hotel car park - while on an emergency call.
In a post on Twitter, an officer known as Pete3586 posted a copy of the fine, which was received after the Ford Ranger was left in a private car park in Darlington on December 13.
"First job of the day completed - online appeal form filled out after £100 parking charge notice issued to marked police car in hotel car park, whilst responding to reports of male self harming in the hotel (later found away from this location) #AnprIsntAlwaysGreat."
