B EAST’S letter (HAS, Dec 5) points out that our Government should be able to come up with a clear figure on what the UK has committed to in terms of EU linked projects after March 2019 and we should be paying no more than that figure in Brexit negotiations.
I have not heard any mention, anywhere, of any asset value we have in the EU. Surely after our many years of contributions we must be entitled to some share of EU assets such as buildings, equipment etc.
In any divorce, split or separation there is usually an agreed share of assets and belongings – even if it’s only who gets the dog or the CDs.
