PEOPLE in Hambleton and Richmondshire are being invited to a special Christmas event to remember and pay tribute to loved ones in their thoughts over the festive season.
Herriot Hospice Homecare is holding its first-ever "Light up a Life" service at St Mary’s Church, Thirsk, on December 16 at 4pm.
People can remember and celebrate the lives of friends and family by dedicating a light on the charity’s Christmas tree, which will be illuminated at the service.
Chief executive Tony Collins, said: “Each light represents those we continue to love, and when you make your dedication you will receive a special memory star to hang on your tree at home, or join others in placing on the Herriot Hospice Homecare Christmas tree."
