Clarification: Maternity services
AFTER a report in yesterday's edition about the future of maternity services in parts of the region, we have been asked to make clear that a decision by the board of County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust to delay making changes only relates to Darlington Memorial Hospital.
Services at the University Hospital of North Tees in Stockton are unaffected by the trust's decision, as they do not fall within its remit, although they will form part of the wider Sustainability and Transformation Plan review.
