MOTORISTS have been warned of road closures next week.
Strengthening work is scheduled to take place on the eastbound carriageway of the A195 Northumberland Way, in Washington, Wearside.
The stretch between the A195 junctions with the A182 Washington Highway and Biddick Lane is the section affected.
The work will begin on Monday at about 4am, and is scheduled to be completed by 6pm, next Wednesday.
Diversions will be in place via the A1282, A1231 and A195.
Motorists are advised to allow more time for their journey while the work is in progress.
