POLICE stopped a motorist who was weaving across the A1 to find he only had three tyres on his car.
Darlington Police Specials pulled the man over on Sunday night on the motorway in County Durham.
The man failed a breath test, blowing 52 microgrammes of alcohol in 10ml of breath when the limit is 35, and is due in court on his third drink driving charge.
Police said the man was too drunk to realise he had a tyre missing.
