A FIVE-STAR hotel was won an award from the accommodation website booking.com
Rockliffe Hall, in Hurworth, near Darlington, won the Guest Review Award from the website after achieving a rating of 9.4 out of ten based on guest reviews on the site.
Eamonn Elliott, chief executive at Rockliffe Hall, said: “We strive to give every one of our guests the best possible experience from the moment they enquire and book, until the moment they leave Rockliffe Hall.
"We’re delighted that the countless people who’ve stayed with us, via booking.com, have felt compelled to leave such positive reviews and we will continue to work hard to make their next stay even better."
Rockliffe bosses recently invested £1 million in a new Spa Garden and has plans for further investment to enhance its services in 2016.
