A FRIENDLY Staffordshire bull terrier is looking for a new home after her owner was no longer able to look after her.
Eight-year-old Roxy has been taken in by the National Animal Sanctuaries Support League (Nassl), near Darlington, which rehomes animals around the North-East and North Yorkshire.
Pauline Wilson, from the charity, said Roxy needs an experienced owner with older children.
“She is a lovely little dog, and will turn herself inside out for you. She is fun-loving and loves having her tummy tickled, which is typical of the breed,” she said.
“She is eight-years-old, which is not that old for a dog as they can live until they are 15 or 16.
“She is fully vaccinated and microchipped.”
Mrs Wilson said that although Roxy has lived with other animals before, including a cat, she would be better suited to a home with no other pets.
Anyone who is interested in rehoming Roxy can call 01325-321855 or visit nassl.org.uk
