THERE was something for all the family at a nostalgia weekend dubbed the Goodwood of the North.
Croft Circuit, near Darlington, has been the venue for the two-day festival on this weekend.
A flyover by the legendary Vulcan bomber is scheduled to be among the highlights of the event.
Organiser Mike Scorer promised 'something for all the family' at the festival, which is expected to attract thousands of visitors.
Now in its sixth year, the event features classic vehicles from the 1930s to the 1970s, military vehicle displays and laps of the famous circuit.
Visitors were encouraged to enter into the spirit of the event and don period clothing for their trip to the festival, which promised to be even more poignant this year, the 70th anniversary of VE Day.
