Ferryhill under 10's sponsored by Joes Diner played Darlington TSC at home for their last game of the season. Ferryhill started the brighter of the two teams and pushed forward to get a corner taken by Rhys Todd from which Nathan Wall, Ferryhill's top goal scorer, headed the ball into the net to take Ferryhill into the lead. The second half saw Darlington pushing forward and succeeded in getting an equaliser. Ferryhill kept their nerve and had several more attempts on goal by Joe Snaith, Ryan Wilkinson and Rhys Todd to no avail, but through some excellent defending by Aiden Gill, Connor Cockfield and goalkeeper Keiran Thompson the final score was 1-1 with a draw all Ferryhill needed to make them league champions. The whole team deservedly got man of the match.

In the friendly Ferryhill's Callum Garnett scored the opening goal in the first half. This was followed by two goals from Scott Tweedy in the second half giving Ferryhill a 3-0 win. Man of the match went to Ben Craddock and Scott Tweedy.

Ferryhill under 12's, sponsored by DAAC, played away at Stockton West End. The first half started evenly with both teams putting in a strong performance from the off. Feryhill were the first to score when Callum West hit the net from a cross off Chrissy Devine but Stockton came straight back to even the score. Kieran Harnett struck a great free kick to find the head of Kurt Seymour to put Ferryhill back in front. Stockton responded quickly and evened the score again. Just before half time, Devine found himself on target to put the score at 3-2 before the whistle.

The second half saw Ferryhill come out the stronger showing their form of late. West got his second followed by Devine who slotted another three away after superb support from the rest of the team, leaving the final score at 7-2 and getting the league title with three games left to play. Man of the Match went to Chrissy Devine.

Ferryhill U15s sponsored by Javeline Group were away to Barnard Castle on Sunday. The match was always going to be a tense encounter between the teams sitting first and second in the table and from the whistle it obviously was not going to dissapoint. Ferryhill were first to force the early play and when Liam Armstrong latched on to a deft through ball from Lewis Brown were first to register a goal. This goal spurred the visitors on and another goal from Armstrong and one from Stephen Ward put them 3-0 up. Barnard Castle dug deep and, after some good attacking and poor defending, managed to score 3 goals in quick succession to even the score at half time. Barnard Castle were quicker into their stride in the second half and added 2 more goals soon after the re-start to make it 5-3. It was Ferryhills turn to dig deep and the recovery was to start when Lewis Brown curled a corner kick straight into goal after taking a deflection of the home keeper. The score was evened up when Ward forced a hurried back pass from Barnard Castle which took an unfortunate bounce over the stranded keeper and into the net. Ferryhill were to clinch the game and the league title when Armstrong claimed his hatrick to make the final score 5-6 to Ferryhill. Liam Armstrong took M.O.M. for Ferryhill.

Ferryhill U11s travelled to Grangetown on Sunday with a depleted squad of the bare 11. Grangetown were first to score when a rebound off Smurthwaite in the Ferryhill goal was turned in by the home side. Despite some good play by Ferryhill and a goal from Connor Dunlavey, Grangetown proved too strong for the weakened Ferryhill team and were to run out winners at 7-1. M.O.M for Ferryhill went to Marcus Brown for a gritty performance.

Ferryhill under 16s played Kader on Sunday. Kaders last game of the season brought them to the dizzy heights of Ferryhill, where they were out to reap revenge for a sound thrashing handed out by the Town earlier in the season. This tight fought contest brought the best out of both teams and early on the action went from box to box but with nothing to show for either team by half time. The hot weather (of a sort not seen on a football pitch in Ferryhill since the war) played a huge part in the developement of the game, but it was Christopher Bradwells very own 30 yard scorcher (top corner) in the 50th minute, that livened things up. He needed to be watered down though after running the full length of the pitch in celebration, something of a first for him. Fierce defending in particular from Richard O Brian (Lambo) and some superb shot stopping from Micheal Graham (Casper) kept out a determined Kader side until a last ditch effort saw them pull back level after a good solo effort down the right wing. All in all a great game that neither team really deserved to lose.
