FOUR miniature paintings by a Richmond artist have been included in a London exhibition.
The pictures of blue and white china by Kate Green are among 600 miniatures on display at the 17th annual A Million Brushstrokes show at the Llewellyn Alexander Gallery, in Waterloo, until April 30.
The self-taught artist, of High Garth, Richmond, won first prize for her miniatures at the Society of Miniaturists' exhibition in 2005.
She said: "I draw on the Vanitas tradition - the main emphasis is on the enjoyment of a particular moment, with a gentle reminder that nothing lasts forever."
