ceramics artwork that marked the 150th anniversary of Middlesbrough receiving its borough charter features in an exhibition.
The 150 white porcelain plates are called One Body Politic - one plate for every year of the borough charter - and is located in the Plate Room in Middlesbrough Town Hall.
The plates by digital artist Mark Heywood bear a "portrait" created by blending two faces taken from archive photographs of crowds in the town in the past 150 years. Work is under way to develop opportunities for more public viewings, and the exhibition will be included in the town's heritage open days.
