Geordie Shore star Holly Hagan will not face any charges after being arrested in connection with a bar room fracas.

Holly, 21, from Thornaby, near Stockton, has been cleared over an incident in which 18-year-old model Hannah Kelso was allegedly struck with a stiletto in a Tyneside nightclub.

Police enquiries are continuing in relation to fellow Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison, 25, from Wallsend, who was also arrested in connection with the alleged incident.

The arrests followed a disturbance at Florita's Bar in Collingwood Street, Newcastle, at 1.13am on July 3.

The Geordie Shore pair had been filming with a TV crew when the confrontation is said to have occurred.

Northern Irish model Hannah Kelso, 18 - who had been enjoying a night out with her friends and twin sister Sophie - suffered facial injuries after she was allegedly hit by a flying stiletto shoe.

She was taken to Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary and is believed to have needed eight stitches to a wound above her eye.

A spokeswoman for Northumbria Police today said: "A 21-year-old woman has been released with no further police action. Regarding the 25-year-old woman, enquiries are continuing."

Filming of Geordie Shore was briefly suspended following the incident in July, however it recommenced later that month.

A spokesman for Misfits Management, which represents Holly, said: "On August 17 our client Holly Hagan was released without charge by Northumberland Police.

"Holly's earlier arrest relates back to an incident during the filming of Geordie Shore series 7.

"Holly has maintained she had no connection to the alleged incident since her arrest.

"Holly is pleased to be released from the investigation and looks forward to the launch of Series 7 on September 17."
